Donna Richardson, SHRM-SCP, SPHR is the founder and CEO for Guiding Strategies LLC, which launched in November of 2004. She has over 35 years of experience successfully providing human resource leadership to business. She is recognized as a business professional for her ability to design and build human resource functions that support successful growth and develop empowered high performance employees.
While working in industry Donna has served in executive roles including the Vice President of Human Resources. She has partnered with executive teams to achieve company success in start-up ventures. She is a master at fostering cultures to support execution of company objectives with high employee engagement. Her business acumen has supported many creative solutions to human resource challenges. She is a true Generalist with experience in all human resource functional areas and many different industries including medtech, biotech, service, plastics, non-profit, electronics and more.
Donna has her BA in Business Administration from Metropolitan State University and MBA course work from St. Thomas University. Donna is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) and serves on the Minnesota SHRM State Council as Membership Director and also serves on a local chapter Board of Directors. Donna is a member of Toastmasters International where she has achieved her Distinguished Toastmaster Award and held many Board positions. She also is a trained mediator.
